Shakir founded Creative Chaos eleven years ago and has since been involved with creating business ecosystems. He is both a founder and Director in The Review Ltd., which holds the franchise for the Princeton Review in Pakistan. As co-owner of a major telecom franchise, he has helped launch the leading communications services provider brand in the territory. Mr. Husain has also spent time as a technology analyst and portfolio manager at a major private equity company in the United Arab Emirates, where he was exposed to private equity and intellectual assets and regularly dealt with high net worth clients in the region. Shakir is an international advisor at Integration Capital & Trade and focuses on developing opportunities in Pakistan. Shakir has been providing consulting and advisory services to corporations, international financial institutions, government organizations, and non profit organizations. He continues to write for various Pakistani publications, including new and traditional print media and writes a weekly column for The News which is published from Karachi. Mr. Husain has a B.A. in Political Science from Whittier College where he received the Ben Burnett Award for excellence in Political Science.

He is an expert in the domains of E-commerce, ERP, CRM, Data Mining, OLAP and specializes in the design and architecture of web based and distributed desktop applications. Umair is a director of the Aziz Group of Companies and serves as Chief Technology Officer at Creative Chaos (Pvt.) Ltd. Previously, Umair worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Xchange Inc. in Boston – MA where he was involved in the design and engineering of CRM solutions used by over 10 Fortune 500 firms.
